Let me know if you have additional ones that you would like to share on the site as well. I forgot to thank a few people in my previous email, namely Jiamin, Kong-Jie, Lynette and Wuisiew for preparing the amazing cheese and durian pastries as well as Zachary and Manfred for volunteering with the barbecuing (and there probably were a lot more of you that help too so thanks too!)
Recipe Box
At the request of some of our members, we have added a new recipe box onto our website. You can visit it at http://scripts.mit.edu/~mitsss/recipes/index.php?title=Main_Page otherwise there’s also a link to it from our main page. Basically, feel free to edit and add any recipes which you would like to share with others and you can always go and visit the page and try out some of the great recipes. Chef Kong-Jie will be co-ordinating it and he has already uploaded a few of his recipes there.

Good day to you! We are planning a recruitment campaign for both undergraduate and postgraduate students who are in the Engineering faculties and wish to seek your assistance in inviting interested students to apply for our research positions.
Our delegation is visiting selected universities in the eastern part of United States of America sometime in November. We are especially keen to attract final year Singaporeans back home to embark on a research career in the science and engineering field. We are also open to recruiting other nationalities if they possess the right experience and qualifications. For full details of the vacancies, please visit: http://www.simtech.a-star.edu.sg/.

Welcome BBQ cum Mid Autumn Festival Celebration on Sep 14th
Hello everyone! Hope that you have had a great summer and are looking forward to the new semester ahead. We will be hosting our annual BBQ cum Mid Autumn Festival on September 14th (Sunday) from 6pm onwards at the Kresge BBQ Pits in MIT. Come join us for a night of good food and fun and relive your childhood moments of carrying around lanterns and eating mooncakes. We will be needing a couple of volunteers to help purchase and prepare the food as well as grilling the food on the day itself. Let us know if you are interested to help out. It won’t take more than a couple of hours of your time and we assure you will have loads of fun too. In addition, if you have a car and maybe a Costco membership, let us know if you could help with purchasing and transporting the food. We will update you with more details regarding the event closer to the actual date, but keep your schedule free meanwhile and we look forward to seeing you at the event!
