Hi everyone!

Thanks to everyone who came last night to the BBQ!  We were very happy to have so many of you join us, including the people from BU, Harvard, and Boston in general.  We hope you met some new faces, and enjoyed the satay, otak, chicken wings, and bee hoon which took a lot of sweat and blood (literally) to prepare.

We could not have organized the welcome without the help of all our volunteers.  Please forgive me if I’ve missed your name (and shoot me an email to let me know!).  Let us know also if there was anything that could have been done better.

Our next big event will be Kopitiam, which will be tentatively held on the 31^st of Oct, Sat.  Dishes in the past have included chilli crab, chicken rice, carrot cake, laksa, kaya toast, bandung, and whatever other recipes other people have to share.  KIV the date as we will need many volunteers again to help, and even more people to eat!
